Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana: Modi government has made a big announcement regarding Ujjwala Yojana. During this time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended the ongoing subsidy of ₹ 300 on Ujjwala scheme for the next one year. That means, under the Ujjwala scheme, the women beneficiaries will continue to get ₹ 300 as subsidy till March 2025. This will benefit 10 crore families.

Piyush Goyal said that Rs 10371.92 crore has been approved for the Bharat AI Mission for the next 5 years. At the same time, a decision regarding farmers has also been taken in the cabinet meeting. During this, Piyush Goyal told that in 10 years there has been an increase of 122% on the MSP of jute. Due to which 44 lakh farmers will get benefit from it. Especially the farmers of eastern areas i.e. Bengal, Assam, Bihar and Orissa will get it.

Decisions taken in cabinet meeting

1. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, everyone gets a subsidy of ₹ 300 under the Ujjwala scheme, which has been extended for the next 1 year. Let us tell you that it is available on 12 cylinders in a year. After this subsidy, beneficiaries in Delhi will get domestic cylinder for Rs 603.

2. In the cabinet meeting, the minimum support price of raw jute has been increased to Rs 285 per quintal. After this, now the price of jute has become Rs 5335. Due to which 40000 farmers and 5 lakh employees will get direct benefits.

3. Apart from this, North East Transformation Scheme has also been started for North East states. In which every state has been given 60 percent minimum retirement and its budget is said to be more than Rs 10,000 crore.

4. Additional installment of dearness allowance and dearness relief to central government employees and pensioners has also been approved. After which 67.95 lakh pensioners and 49.18 lakh employees will get direct benefits.

5. AI Mission Kenyahat India Mission will also be encouraged with an expenditure of Rs 10372 crore. The central government will spend to promote AI based work and solutions. In which AI service market will be developed. Besides, academics and startups will also be encouraged.
