Xiaomi, a giant in the smartphone world, is preparing to launch its much-anticipated flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Recent leaks about the device’s specifications suggest that it could come in two versions and has also been listed on China’s 3C certification site. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra will replace the company’s Xiaomi 15 Ultra and will come with several groundbreaking features.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra to be Available in Two Powerful Variants
According to a media report, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra has been listed on the 3C certification site in two different variants. Its standard variant was seen with model number – 2512BPNDAC, while the dual satellite communication variant has model number – 25128PNA1C. The 3C listing also confirms that the phone will support 100W wired charging, a significant upgrade from the previous Xiaomi 15 Ultra’s 90W charging support.
The satellite communication version of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will allow calls and messages even in areas where normal connectivity is unavailable. This will utilize China’s Tiantong and Beidou services. However, it is likely that this feature will not be included in the international market launch of the smartphone.
Explosive Camera and Processor
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.85-inch LTPO OLED display with 2K resolution and extremely thin bezels. For performance, the smartphone may be powered by Qualcomm’s latest and powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, which will provide ultra-fast speed and a fantastic gaming experience.
In the camera department, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra could come with a quad-rear camera unit. It is expected to have a 200-megapixel primary rear camera, accompanied by three other 50-megapixel cameras. One of these cameras could come with new optical technology, a periscope lens, further enhancing the photography experience.
Large RAM and Storage, Powerful Battery
The upcoming Xiaomi 17 Ultra could offer up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage, providing users with ample space for multitasking and data storage. As for the battery, although the specific capacity is not mentioned in this report, a large battery can be expected considering previous models and the 100W charging support.
Notably, the Xiaomi 17 Pro, launched in India in September, features a 6.3-inch display, and the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max comes with a 6.9-inch 2 display. These smartphones run on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and feature a 50-megapixel primary camera. The Xiaomi 17 Pro is equipped with a 7,500mAh battery, and the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max has a 6,300mAh battery. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to bring further improvements to these specifications.
