Before the formation of the new government at the centre, when the leaders of all the NDA parties along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the Central Hall of the old Parliament House for the parliamentary party meeting, the scene there was completely different. Narendra Modi's third consecutive victory has been confirmed and the NDA has obtained such a huge majority for the third consecutive time.

This time too, when PM Modi arrived for a meeting in the Central Hall of the old Parliament House after this victory, he touched the Constitution of India to his forehead. He bowed down and respectfully touched the Constitution to his forehead.

This is not the first time PM Modi has done this. In 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had touched the ground with folded hands at the entrance of Parliament soon after arriving for the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting at the main gate of Parliament House.

While entering the Parliament for the first time after leading the BJP-led NDA to victory in 2014, he had knelt down on the steps of the temple, folded his hands and bowed down by placing his forehead on the steps to show his deep respect for the 'temple of democracy'. At that time, the BJP had won 282 seats on its own and 336 seats with the NDA.

After this, BJP got the mandate for the second time in the general elections in 2019. Along with this, after being elected as the leader of the NDA and BJP Parliamentary Party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi bowed down and respectfully touched the Constitution of India to his forehead.

In 2019, BJP alone won 303 seats and together with NDA, it won 353 seats. Narendra Modi's third consecutive victory was confirmed, NDA got absolute majority for the third time in a row. But, his respect for the Constitution and the Parliament of the country has not diminished at all. In fact, the feelings of respect for the Constitution of the country in his mind were strong in 2014, today that feeling is even deeper than that.
