Vivo V60 5G Set for August 12 India Launch with Powerful Specs and Triple Camera
Vivo is all set to launch its new V-series smartphone, the Vivo V60 5G, in India on August 12 at 12 pm IST. The successor to the Vivo V50, the new handset has been a subject of multiple leaks and has now been officially confirmed with several key specifications. The smartphone has also received certification from Thailand's National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), hinting at its imminent global release.

The Vivo V60 5G will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and will be available in three color options in India: Auspicious Gold, Mist Grey, and Moonlit Blue. It is confirmed to feature a robust 6,500mAh battery. For photography enthusiasts, the phone will boast a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 10x zoom capability.
Running on the latest Android 15-based FuntouchOS 15, the Vivo V60 5G is also designed for durability with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. While Vivo has confirmed these core features, past leaks have painted a more detailed picture of the upcoming device.
The smartphone is rumored to sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, it is expected to support 90W fast charging to quickly replenish its large battery. The camera system is tipped to include a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. An in-display fingerprint sensor and stereo speakers are also expected to be part of the package.
As for the price, the Vivo V60 5G is anticipated to be priced in the range of ₹37,000 to ₹40,000 in the Indian market. With its blend of confirmed high-end features and promising rumored specifications, the Vivo V60 5G is shaping up to be a strong contender in the upper mid-range segment.
