Steel Authority of India itself has told that the weight of their wheels depends on the coach of the train. If we talk about the train coach, then the red colored LHB coach wheel weighs around 326 kg. At the same time, the weight of one wheel in the compartment of a normal train running on broad gauge ranges from 384 – 394 kg. If we talk about EMU train, the weight of one wheel in its coach goes up to 423 kg.
