Students showed their strength in the 400 meter race competition

Bakhri / Begusarai : To promote social change, sports should be used as a platform. These words were uttered by SI Pushpalata Kumari of Bakhri police station. She had come to encourage the students in the 400-meter marathon race on the second day of Khelo Bakhri competition organized by ABVP Bakhri Nagar unit on Saturday.

Hundreds of students from various educational institutions of the subdivisional area participated in the marathon race competition. Outgoing BCM of PHC Suman Kumar, BHM Manish Kumar, ABVP city vice president Pradeep Kumar, Prince Singh Parmar etc. informed the participants about the importance of sports.

City Minister Anubhav Anand, State Executive Member Manish Kumar said that competition develops sports skills in students. At present, the government is also encouraging students towards sports by including sports in the new education policy.

In the 400-meter race competition, among the students from group A, Mukesh Kumar, Manish, Dheeraj, Aman, Rajiv, Balkaran qualified for the final round of the race. Among the girls, Annu Kumari got first place, Manisha got second place and Rakhi got third place. While among the boys from group B, Nitish, Suman, Deepak, Alok, Rajiv, Piyush, Roshan, Sachin, Dilkhush were selected for the next round. Among the girls, Poonam Bharti, Sonali, Priya, Ruchika Kumari got first, second and third places.
