Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Leaks Reveal Enhanced Thermals, Faster RAM, and a “Privacy Display”

Next-Gen Flagship Poised for Early 2026 Launch with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy
Seoul, South Korea – Anticipation is building for the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, the rumored successor to this year’s Galaxy S25 Ultra, expected to make its debut in early 2026. Following recent computer-aided design (CAD) renders that hinted at its potential design, a fresh wave of leaks has now shed light on the device’s key specifications, promising significant improvements in performance, user privacy, and thermals.
According to prominent leakers, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is set to deliver substantial upgrades. X (formerly Twitter) user Anthony (@TheGalox_) suggests the handset will feature a “bigger” vapor chamber for superior thermal management, addressing a crucial aspect for high-performance devices. The phone is also tipped to come with up to 16GB of RAM, which is expected to offer a remarkable 25 percent increase in data transfer speeds, ensuring a smoother and more responsive user experience.
A highlight of the rumored features is a 6.9-inch M14 QHD+ CoE Dynamic AMOLED screen, which is said to incorporate a new “Privacy Display” or “Private Display” functionality. This feature, recently spotted in the One UI 8.5 code, suggests an innovative approach to screen privacy, potentially limiting viewing angles to prevent prying eyes from seeing sensitive information.
In terms of aesthetics, tipster PhoneArt (@UniverseIce) shared an image showcasing what appears to be the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra in three distinct colorways, including a striking new orange option reminiscent of the iPhone 17 Pro’s Cosmic Orange.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is widely expected to be powered by a custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chipset, ensuring top-tier performance. However, some reports indicate that an Exynos 2600 SoC could power the phone in select regions. The device is also rumored to pack a robust 5,000mAh battery with 60W wired fast charging capabilities, and could maintain a sleek profile with an approximate thickness of 7.9mm.
Photography enthusiasts will be eager to hear about the camera setup. The S26 Ultra is believed to feature a formidable quad-camera system on the rear, including a 200-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.4 aperture, a 50-megapixel periscope lens offering 5x zoom with an f/2.9 aperture, a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom. Storage options are expected to include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB internal configurations.
While these specifications are based on leaks and rumors, they paint a compelling picture of Samsung’s next-generation flagship, suggesting a device that prioritizes performance, user privacy, and an enhanced mobile experience.
