Realme GT 8 Pro to Launch in India in 20 November: Know Specifications and Features
Flagship Smartphone to Come with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Chipset and HyperVision AI Chip

New Delhi: Realme has announced the launch of its latest flagship smartphone, the Realme GT 8 Pro, in the Indian market in 20 November. The company confirmed the news today through a social media post. Like its Chinese variant, the smartphone will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with a HyperVision AI chip, setting new benchmarks in performance and image processing.
In India, the Realme GT 8 Pro will be sold through Realme’s official website and e-commerce platform Flipkart. The company has not yet confirmed the availability of the Realme GT 8 in India.
Launch and Availability:
Realme announced in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that it will launch its flagship Realme GT 8 Pro in India in November. Two microsites (Realme’s website and Flipkart) have confirmed the arrival of this smartphone. It has also been clarified that the Realme GT 8 Pro will be available for sale in the country through Flipkart and the company’s online store.
Expected Specifications of Realme GT 8 Pro:
Microsites reveal that the Indian variant of the Realme GT 8 Pro will also feature the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor as its Chinese variant. It has also been confirmed that it will have a Ricoh GR-tuned rear camera unit, which will enhance the photography experience. Additionally, the smartphone will also be equipped with a HyperVision AI chip, which will boost AI-powered features.
Price and Features of Chinese Variant (Expected):
Realme launched the Realme GT 8 Pro along with the Realme GT 8 in China on October 21. In China, its 12GB/256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs 50,000) and the 16GB/1TB storage variant is priced at CNY 5,199 (approximately Rs 64,000). This smartphone is available in blue, white, and green colors.
In China, the Realme GT 8 Pro features a 6.79-inch QHD+ AMOLED flexible display with a resolution of 1440×3136 pixels, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, and a peak brightness of 7,000 nits. This display offers a superb visual experience with 1.07 billion colors, 508ppi pixel density, and a 3,200Hz touch sampling rate. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. The smartphone is equipped with a powerful 7,000mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support, ensuring long-lasting usage.
