Organizing Kisan Chaupal in Naokothi and Dafferpur Panchayat Bhawan


Naokothi / Begusarai : Kisan Chaupal was organized on Monday in E Kisan Bhawan located in the block premises and in the Panchayat Bhawan located in Chhatauna of Dafferpur Panchayat within the block area. In the name of Kisan Chaupal in Naavkothi, only formality was done. Most of the farmers were not given information about the Chaupal by the Agriculture Department. The presence of farmers was negligible. The farmers present were given information about all the schemes of the Agriculture Department and the various schemes running under ATMA in the Chaupal.

Addressing the farmers, Technical Manager Rajni Rani explained in detail the importance of soil testing, organic farming, water life greenery, drip irrigation, training to farmers, tours, integrated farming system, crop cycle etc. She requested the farmers to be active and avail the benefits given by the government.

Agriculture coordinator Jitendra Kumar and Rajesh Kumar provided information regarding distribution of maize seeds to farmers. Farmers were also informed about various schemes through Chaupal. Panchayat Samiti member Gautam Goswami, Ajit Kumar, assistant technical manager Mahanand Kumar, advisor Shravan Kumar, Jaishankar Singh, Vishwanath Singh, Tarun Kumar, Kumud Kumar Singh, etc. were present on the occasion.
