Oppo Reno 15 Series is Coming, Launching on November 17!

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is soon going to launch its new Oppo Reno 15 series. This much-awaited smartphone series may include three powerful models – Oppo Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and Reno 15 Pro Mini. All these smartphones are likely to feature a triple rear camera unit. Even before the launch, some important leaks about the specifications of these upcoming smartphones have emerged, indicating their grand entry.

Launch on November 17, Glimpse on Geekbench

According to a media report, a poster has been shared on China’s microblogging platform Weibo, announcing the launch of the Oppo Reno 15 series on November 17. Recently, Oppo’s new smartphone with model number – PLV110 was listed on the benchmarking site Geekbench, which is believed to be the base model of this series. This smartphone comes with 16GB of RAM and runs on the latest Android 16. Its CPU and GPU details also indicate that it may use the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset. It is expected that this smartphone series may also launch in India next month. Earlier, a tipster had informed that the Oppo Reno 15 is being tested in some international markets.

Stunning Display and Camera Setup

The base model of the upcoming smartphone series could feature a 6.59-inch flat OLED display. The previous Oppo Reno 14 5G featured a 6.59-inch flat OLED display and the Reno 14 Pro 5G came with a 6.83-inch display. The displays of these smartphones are expected to come with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,200 nits of peak brightness level.

The new smartphone series could have advanced imaging capabilities with better color reproduction. The triple rear camera unit of the Oppo Reno 15 and Reno 15 Mini may include a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 primary camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The Oppo Reno 15 Pro may feature a 32-megapixel front camera, which will provide a great experience for selfie lovers.

ColorOS 16 Based on Android 16

These upcoming smartphones will run on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, which will provide users with the latest features and a smooth user interface. It is worth noting that the previous Oppo Reno 14 series ran on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, so this will be a significant upgrade. The Oppo Reno 15 series is expected to carve a niche for itself in the smartphone market with its excellent camera, powerful performance, and attractive design.
