OnePlus 11 5G Receives OxygenOS 15 Update in India with New Camera and System Features
OnePlus has begun rolling out a new OxygenOS 15 update for the OnePlus 11 5G in India, introducing a host of enhancements, including new camera functionalities, system upgrades, and improved multitasking capabilities. The update, version OxygenOS 15.0.0.840(EX01), also brings the latest Android security patch and fixes a known display bug.

Enhanced Multitasking and System Upgrades
A major highlight of the OxygenOS 15 update is the improved multitasking functionality. OnePlus 11 5G users can now run one application in full-screen mode while simultaneously using a second app in a floating window. This feature is designed to take full advantage of the device’s expansive 6.7-inch Quad-HD+ LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display.
The update introduces several system-level changes to improve user experience:
-
Save to Mind Space: Users can save screen content as “memories” which are then automatically summarized and archived.
-
Stackable Widgets: Widgets of the same size can now be dragged and stacked together for a cleaner home screen.
-
Temporary Notification Block: A new “Temporarily Block” feature allows users to swipe up on a banner notification to dismiss it for a short period.
-
Quick Settings Shortcut: A shortcut for restarting the phone has been added to the Quick Settings panel.
New Camera and Photo Editing Features
The update brings significant improvements to the Hasselblad-tuned camera system:
-
Soft Light Filter: A new filter has been added to the Portrait and Photo modes to create “dreamy” image effects.
-
AI Perfect Shot: This feature can recognize and replace the facial expressions of a subject in a photo.
-
Advanced Editing: Users gain new editing options, including the ability to export videos as live photos and export both videos and live photos as high-resolution images. The Photos app homepage can also be customized to hide specific content.
Additional Improvements and Fixes
The OxygenOS 15 update also includes several quality-of-life improvements:
-
Gradual Alarm Volume: The alarm volume will now increase progressively.
-
Recorder App Grouping: The Recorder app now supports customizable grouping for audio files and automatically categorizes recordings from Standard, Meeting, and Interview modes into an “In-person recordings” group.
-
Expanded Font Support: OnePlus Sans and One Sans fonts are now available in more languages.
More importantly, the update integrates the July 2025 Android security patch to enhance system security and resolves a display location issue with mini windows.
