Now a teacher's court will be set up in Begusarai to listen to the grievances of teachers

Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of Education Department, Dr. S Siddharth had issued an order to all DEOs and BEOs this month that the Education Department should also hold Darbar at block and district level from this month to hear the complaints and grievances of retired teachers, working teachers and the general public. To implement this order of the department, Begusarai DEO Rajdev Ram has announced that Teacher Darbar will be held every Saturday at 3.00 pm.

Retired teachers, working teachers or any employee connected with the department will bring their problems to the Darbar, the problems will be resolved by communicating with them. It is noteworthy that retired teachers or employee have to visit the DEO or BEO office to get their work done. Due to problems not being resolved on time, such complaints are reaching directly at the State Headquarters level. It means that the complaints of these teachers are not being heard neither at the block nor at the district level. For this reason, Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, S. Siddharth has ordered all DEOs and BEOs to hold Shikshak Darbar every Saturday after school to listen to their problems.

The first benefit of organizing Shikshak Darbar is that the pressure on the state headquarters will be reduced. The complaints or problems which cannot be resolved at the district or block level will be sent to the state headquarters. Retired teachers will also save time. State convener of TET Prarambhik Shikshak Sangh Raju Kumar said that till now whatever hearing was being done at the level of DEO or BEO was just a formality. Now it remains to be seen how successful this new experiment is. Will the problems of teachers actually be resolved or will the Darbar remain just a Darbar.
