New Affordable Smartphone to Feature MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Processor and Android 15
Nothing is reportedly working on its upcoming smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite, which was revealed in a leak earlier this month. Now, a new device from the company has appeared on Geekbench, confirming its imminent launch. This listing further solidifies the existence of the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite.
Nothing Phone (3a) Lite: Expected Features and Specifications
The device spotted on Geekbench bears the model number Nothing A001T. This smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. As per the listing, the smartphone is equipped with 8GB of RAM. In terms of the operating system, this smartphone runs on Android 15 out of the box. On Geekbench, the Phone (3a) Lite achieved 1003 points in the single-core test and 2925 points in the multi-core test.
Although the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 name might suggest an upgrade over the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro used in the Nothing Phone (2a), technically, the 7300 is actually slightly less powerful than the 7200 Pro, though more efficient. It features a 4x Cortex-A78 CPU setup at 2.5GHz, while the 7200 Pro has faster Cortex-A715 cores. According to previous leaks, this smartphone will launch only in a variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage, making it an affordable option.
Expected Specifications of Nothing Phone (3a)
If we talk about the Nothing Phone (3a), it features a 6.77-inch FHD+ flexible AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2392 pixels, a 30-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and 3000 nits peak brightness. This phone is equipped with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 4nm processor. The smartphone runs on Nothing OS 3.1 based on Android 15.
The Phone 3a houses a 5000mAh battery that supports 50W fast charging. In terms of camera setup, the Phone 3a’s rear features a 50-megapixel primary camera with f/1.88 aperture and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical and 30x digital zoom. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 32-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, USB Type-C port, and NFC.
