Free Insurance: The Government of India started the Ayushman Bharat scheme in the year 2018. Under this scheme, health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh is provided to the poor and deprived sections of the country. Actually, it is a national health protection scheme proposed by the Government of India. Under this scheme, basic health services in India have been made free and affordable.
So that such people who come from poor families or who are not able to get high quality health services, such people are provided free health facilities. The poor people of India are given the benefits of health and medical schemes under the scheme called Arogya Bharat.
Apart from this, treatment of fatal diseases is also included in this scheme. Actually, the main objective of this scheme is to provide better health to the poor people. Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, financial assistance is provided through the National Institute of Health. So that he can get better treatment. However, this scheme is available only to those people whose annual income is Rs 1.2 lakh per year or less.
State government, central government or public sector employees do not get this scheme. At the same time, people taking pension also do not get this facility. Whose pension is more than ₹ 10000 per month. Even a person filing income tax is deprived of these facilities.
Apart from this, this scheme is not available to those people whose annual income is more than Rs 1.02 lakh per year. In fact, under Ayushman Bharat scheme, more than 1350 diseases are treated free of cost. In which the government provides health insurance coverage up to Rs 5 lakh per family per year. Under this scheme, after being admitted to the hospital, the patient gets treatment without paying any money. This scheme has been started by the Government of India to provide health services to the poor and deprived sections of the country.
