Mouthwatering Mushroom Masala – A Hearty Indian Curry

🍄 Mushroom Masala Recipe
📋 Ingredients:
For the curry:

Mushrooms – 200 grams (cleaned and sliced)

Onions – 2 (finely chopped)
-
Tomatoes – 2 (pureed)
-
Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tbsp

Green chili – 1-2 (finely chopped)
-
Oil – 2-3 tbsp
-
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
-
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
-
Coriander-cumin powder – 1 tsp
-
Red chili powder – to taste
-
Garam masala – ½ tsp
-
Salt – to taste
-
Water – as needed
-
Fresh coriander – for garnish
👨🍳 Instructions:

Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.

Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.

Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates.

Add turmeric, coriander-cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat.

Add a little water if needed and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.

Finally, add garam masala and garnish with fresh coriander.
🍽️ Serving Suggestion:
Serve hot with roti, naan, paratha, or jeera rice. A side of salad or raita makes it even better!
