In Begusarai, fraudsters took a ransom of Rs 1 lakh from a woman by giving her a fake kidnapping of her son

The government and the police are giving various tips and advice to people to avoid cyber crime. Despite this, cyber crime is not stopping in the district. The incidents of cyber fraud are increasing day by day. Despite repeated awareness campaigns by the police, people get trapped in the trap of criminals due to circumstances. A case of cyber fraud has come to the Begusarai cyber police station. The cyber fraudsters called the wife of Pachamba resident Santosh Kumar and said that your son has been kidnapped.

Immediately send Rs 1 lakh to my account or else you will lose your son. The woman without any investigation immediately sent Rs 1 lakh to the mobile number sent. Later the family came to know that the son was safe and no one had called him. Santosh Kumar told the police that his son was studying engineering in Pune. He had come home on vacation after giving his first year exams. On Monday he went from Pachamba to his aunt's house in Harrakh. During this time, around 3 to 4 in the afternoon, a call came from the number 7250517683.

The caller said that the son has been kidnapped. Immediately send 1 lakh rupees on this mobile number of mine, otherwise the son will be shot. Without thinking anything, the wife sent 1 lakh rupees (in three installments of 25-25 and 50 thousand) through Pay Phone. Santosh told that after transferring the money, his wife started crying. When he came to know about the matter, he started searching for the son. When he called the son, he said I am fine. He is on the way and is coming to Pachamba.

The victim Santosh Kumar has demanded the cyber police station in-charge to get the cheated money back. The police station in-charge said that if any member of the victim's family had spoken immediately after receiving the call, they would not have been cheated. The victim Santosh Kumar told the cyber police that when he checked the transfer details from Pay Phone, he found out that the money had gone to the account of Saharsa Light House. After this, when he talked to the mobile number 7250517683, he said that I am Mahmood speaking, you have dialed the wrong number. Therefore, whenever such a call comes from an unknown number and threatens, share it with the family members. Find out at your own level. Immediately inform the police about the incident.
