Bharat Gas, Indane Gas, and HP Gas are three national LPG Gas suppliers. Liquefied Petroleum Gas, or LPG, is the most extensively used cooking gas. The government subsidizes a certain amount of cylinders each year, making LPG Cylinders affordable to the poor.One of the first items you’ll need at your new home is an LPG cylinder. If you want to transfer your Bharat Gas/HP/Indane or other LPG connection, you must follow the steps outlined below. For all service providers, the procedure is nearly identical.

How To Transfer HP, Indane, Bharat Gas LPG Connection Due To Address Change?
Step 1: Visit the nearest Gas distributor
Step 2: Carry and submit all documents along with the request letter. Submit the transfer letter, gas regulator, and the gas connection voucher in person to the gas distributor
Step 3: If you’re moving from one city to another, you’ll also have to give up your old cylinder and safety regulator
Step 4: Receive reimbursement for the cylinder and the regulator’s security deposit
Step 5: Collect the gas transfer voucher that looks similar to the one you got for your gas connection

Step 1: Visit the agency where you want to transfer
Step 2: Submit address proof of your new place of residence along with identity proof and the gas transfer voucher to the new agency
Step 3: pay a nominal fee as transfer charge
The gas agency will validate your transfer after you submit the documentation, and you will be given a new gas connection voucher with your current address on it

How to become eligible for subsidy transfer?
Direct Benefit Transfer using an Aadhaar card is available to LPG account customers who have an Aadhaar card. Those who do not have an Aadhaar card can use a non-Aadhaar approach by connecting their bank account to their LPG account directly.
Non-Aadhaar-based Direct Benefit Transfer
Step 1: Log on to mylpg.in
Step 2: Choose the LPG service provider
Step 3: Click on the Join DBT link on the service provider porta
Step 4: Select the second option that says: ‘If you do not have Aadhaar Number Click here to join DBTL
Step 5: Submitting details(form 4) to LPG distributor or Submitting details (Form 3) to a bank branch.
You can also use the unified PAHAL form instead of Form 3 or Form 4, which is applicable to both Aadhaar-based and non-Aadhaar-based links. Banks and/or LPG distributors can be contacted using this form. The instructions are included in the form.
What happens if Aadhaar and bank account are not linked to LPG account?
You will keep receiving LPG cylinders at market rates, but you will not receive any subsidy. At the present, LPG pricing, the subsidy is just Rs 6,000 per year, assuming that you can order 12 cylinders in a year. It will be less if you utilize fewer cylinders.
As of now, the market price of each cylinder is Rs 800, and the subsidy per cylinder is roughly Rs 400.
