Eligibility and age limit
To apply for the post of Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) the candidate must be an Indian citizen. The candidates should have passed class 12 from a recognised board / institute with minimum 50 per cent marks.
Apart from fulfilling the educational qualification the minimum age of the candidate at the time of application should not be less than 18 years and more than 30 years. Candidates belonging to the reserved category will be given relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules.
How will the selection be made?
To become a TTE candidates have to appear for a written test. A total of 150 multiple choice questions will be asked in the exam. The question paper will have questions from subjects like Mathematics English General Knowledge and General Reasoning.
The merit list of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of their performance in the examination and after this the candidates will have to attend the document verification and medical test etc. The selected candidates will get a salary in the range of Rs 9400 to Rs 9400. 35000 per month as per the 7th Pay Commission.
