Nowadays, if you ask someone for cash, they will hardly be able to give you even a ₹10 note. Because now from vegetable to fruit, they take money through UPI. After the digitization revolution of our country, the exchange of cash has reduced significantly. People are transacting money through UPI. As a result, you don’t need to carry a lot of cash.
However, there is a big news about UPI. It is being said that UPI like Phone Pay and Bharat Pay will be stopped from December 31. But you don’t have to worry. Because such numbers will be closed on which there has been no UPI transaction for about a year.
Cheating to be curbed
The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has decided to discontinue UPI numbers such as Google Pay and PhonePe that have not been used for a year. From January 1, 2024, such apps will be closed on those numbers on which there has been no transaction for the last one year. Apart from this, the bank will also check the UPI ID and number of those customers. So that there is no confusion in future.
