Dead body found in Budhi Gandak river…

Naokothi / Begusarai : On Wednesday, a sensation spread in the area when the body of a young man was found in the Budhi Gandak river near Kamalpur village of the police station. A large crowd of people gathered to see the body. The body was identified as Newton, the 22-year-old son of Suresh Singh, a resident of Dunhi of Garhpura police station. On receiving the information, DSP Kundan Kumar, Block Development Officer Chiranjeev Pandey, Circle Officer Suraj Kumar, Police Station Head Dinesh Kumar, CI Shambhu Paswan reached with the police force and took the body into custody.

The body was sent to Sadar Hospital, Begusarai for postmortem. According to the information received, he was missing since June 9. During this time, a huge crowd of nearby villagers including Dafferpur Panchayat head representative E Ranjit Kumar Pampam, Panchayat Samiti member Ajit Kumar gathered there.
