About the plan
Ashok Gehlot launched the Chiranjeevi Yojana in the year 2021. Under this scheme Rs 5 lakh health insurance is provided to every family. After reviewing the scheme in 2022 the Gehlot government increased its coverage amount to Rs 10 lakh. He also announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh for the victim treatment.
In the year 2023 the government once again changed the scheme. This time the amount for treatment of diseases has been increased from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 25 lakh. At present Rs 25 lakh is given as health insurance and Rs 5 lakh as accident insurance under Chiranjeevi Yojana.
What will you gain
The benefit of health insurance is given to the residents of Rajasthan under the Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana. So far 97% of the beneficiaries are residents of Rajasthan and 3% are outsiders Under the scheme OPD and medicines will be provided free of cost. There will be no charge for expensive medicines required for treatment. There is no fee for the test.
