“We are doing some technology upgrades in UPI between 00.30 pm and 3.00 pm on 26th November 2023. Apart from UPI internet banking services YONO YONO Lite and ATM facilities will be available during this period.”
But SBI customers who want to do any online transaction within this time limit can use internet banking and SBIs online application for the transaction. You can use the YONO SBI app at this time.
SBIs 44 crore customers will be affected due to the temporary closure of UPI service. At present SBI is using new technology to improve its UPI service. This is because its success rate in terms of quick transactions has been low in the past.
Technology is constantly being upgraded.
In fact this is not the first time that SBI has done this but the work of technology upgradation is done by the bank from time to time. In such a situation there is a possibility of some transactions getting stuck or cancelled.
