Alone season 11 winner controversy : Alone Season 11 attempts to ramp up the intensity by introducing a cast of ten new hopefuls to its most remote location ever.
The History Channel’s hit reality series follows ten contestants as they try to survive as long as possible in a remote area of Canada’s Northwest Territories, 100 miles north of the Arctic Circle.
Each participant is limited to ten items from a pre-approved stockpile of authorized gear and is given a kit containing standard equipment, clothing, and first aid supplies. The final participant will receive $500,000.
Cubby Hoover, a 33-year-old bowyer and homesteader from Seligman, Missouri, enters the tournament to outlast the other competitors and thrive in a harsh environment.
After failing to find the perfect employment for him, Cubby decided to take a chance by purchasing a camper and traveling to Missouri to start over with his wife. This enabled him to start his own archery firm.
Cubby’s belongings: sleeping bag, 2-quart pot, ferro rod, paracord, multitool, bow and arrows, fishing line and hook, snare wire, saw, and axe.
