A grand Kalash procession was taken out on Saturday in connection with the nine-day Vishnu Mahayagna at the Ram Janaki Thakurwadi premises located in Jhamatiya village of Rani Ek Panchayat of Bachhwara (Begusarai) block headquarters. Twenty-one hundred Kumari girls participated in the Kalash Yatra and walked from the Yajna Sthal with elephants, horses and bands and reached Jhamatiya Dham Ganga Ghat via Thana Road via Bachhwara Bazaar. Where, after performing Puja as per Sanatan Dharma and Puja rituals, it reached the Yajna Sthal from Jhamatiya via the block headquarters.

In the procession, the devotees were raising one more than the other slogans due to which the whole area was resonating with devotion. Along with unmarried girls, hundreds of women, men and children from the surrounding area also participated in the procession. After returning to the temple premises from the Kalash Yatra, the Bhoomi Pujan and Dev Nimantran and Dev Aawan were duly done by learned Brahmins and Ved Acharya. The coordinator of Vishnu Maha Yagya and Mahant of Jhamatiya Ram Janaki Thakurwadi, Shri Shri 108 Shri Sadanand alias Bhoot Baba Ji Maharaj said that the villagers had been proposing the Yagya Puja for a long time, last month the villagers decided to organize Shri Shri 108 Vishnu Maha Yagya in the Thakurwadi premises with unanimous consent.

After which the Kalash Yatra was taken out in the morning. He told that during the yagya, preachers will arrive from far off places and will present stories for public welfare with their sweet voice among the people. During this yagya, various texts will be recited by scholars during the sermon every day for nine days. The yagya program will run from Sunday, July 7 to Monday, July 15, in which the story will be presented by Sadhvi Prachi, a storyteller from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Shri Pal Ji Maharaj, who is visiting Vrindavan, will present Krishna Leela with his group. Anand Kunwar, secretary of the yagya committee, told that a health camp has also been arranged during the yagya, along with this, Divyaang, handicapped and helpless people will be helped by Narayan Seva Sansthan.

He told that the live telecast of the yagna will be done daily through Aastha channel. He told that during this nine-day yagna, people from Jhamatia, Narepur, Ayodhya toll and nearby areas have a significant contribution. Yagna committee chairman Ravindra Rai, treasurer Mangal Dev Kunwar and Santosh Kunwar, Manoj Kumar Rahul, Tinku Kumar and other villagers of Jhamatia, Narepur village were present on the occasion.
